Philippines Backdrop

This backdrop was created for N.U.S.H.'s "Day of the Child" event. Throughout the week different age groups chose a country to learn about and to present for the "Day of the Child" event. The Pee Wees chose the Philippines and learned about the Philippines flag, the labendara, the barong, Bahay ng Pamilia, ate Filipino food, and created their own Visayan doll. The Pee Wees also learned a classic Filipino children's song "Sampung Mga Daliri" ("Ten Little Fingers") that they sang in Tagalog during the "Day of the Child" event. The girls wore a traditional kimona and the boys, a barong, while singing in front of this backdrop.
