This teaching aide was created for the song "5 Little Pumpkins." This song was taught to the Head Start students in preparation for Halloween and to teach them simple subtraction by having the flying witch take away the pumpkins (not shown here) from the felt board:

A witch came flying by (Have felt witch flying and appearing on felt board.) HA! HA! HA! HEE! HEE! HEE! (Grab a "pumpkin.")

I'm going to make me some pumpkin pie! (Rub tummy.)
