"...the butterfly wings on the inside covers were found on Montrose Beach after Jon and I had talked about separating and I was talking to him about change. Also on the inside covers are rose petals from his rose that he gave to me. Our staff as a thank you gave us roses for our hard work this year, but a 7-year old snapped my rose in half (on purpose.) So Jon gave me his. I documented the last two weeks of him and I together--before he left back for Newton--by listing down everything that made me smile when we were together as a couple. Some of the choice things that I listed I made an illustration/comic about."
