Angelica M. Busque received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2004 from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she studied experimental sound and video art. She draws, paints, and creates artist books, but is best known for her self-published comic book series, Morning Star, which has exhibited nationally across the U.S. with VSA Arts. Morning Star has also been displayed in Chicago’s Gene Siskel Film Center, Chicago Cultural Center, The Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA, and at the Smithsonian International Gallery in Washington D.C.

After living in Chicago for ten years, Busque currently resides in the Metro Detroit area, where she is working on her new comic book series, Geli Girl.
